Kvitfjell is a good and varied alpine ski resort with great variations in skiing from beginner to expert skier. Wide boulevard pistes but also narrow pistes with steep drops and forest trails.

Skiing at Kvitfjell

Olympic slopes, no queues at the lifts and lots of space on the slopes are the keywords for Kvitfjell. Kvitfjell is located in the Olympic area of ​​Lillehammer and offers 26 slopes. The slopes are divided between the east and west sides of the mountain.

    Olympic downhill slopes

    Since the area hosted the Winter Games in 1994, the Olympic challenges have been expanded with great children's and beginners' areas. Good thing the area still lays out Olympic pistes for training camps for world-class national teams, but now everyone can join. This ensures 25 slopes of varying degrees of difficulty, wide family pistes and efficient lift systems. The experiences have become more versatile - but the Olympic qualities have been preserved.

    Snowboarding at Kvitfjell

    Bring your snowboard! Kvitfjell promises and delivers various levels of difficulty. The junior park is dedicated to fun for beginners and advanced skiers of all ages. While the fun park on the western sunny side of Kvitfjell expands the offer and entices with varied and crazy challenges, with a view of Jotunheimen.

    Use the same skipass in Hafjell

    Kvitfjell also has a lot to offer in terms of views and wellness. If you as a family want to do lots of different things on your ski holiday, but also want peace and quiet, Kvitfjell is the ideal destination. As an added bonus, you can use the same ski pass at Hafjell and Kvitfjell. Only 30 km lie between the two ski areas and together they have 73 km of alpine slopes, 5 fun parks, 900 km of groomed cross-country ski trails, 28 lifts and 1 gondola lift!

There is plenty of room on the slopes at almost all times of the season, now that there is both an east and west side of the alpine facility. There are 3 children's areas and 2 beginner areas. At Kvitfjell you generally live within walking distance of the slopes in the area.

There is a wide range of cabins and apartments in Kvitfjell. Accommodations are located around the intermediate station/east side with fantastic views over Gudbrandsdalen. The west side, also known as the sunny side, offers cabins and apartments with good sun conditions. Accommodation and ferry crossing is included in the price.
