Find useful information about the SuperSpeed ships and harbour in Larvik, Kristiansand and Hirtshals.

Before departure

Guests with and without a vehicle should arrive at least 60 minutes before departure.

Remember to bring a valid ID. Norway is introducing border controls on all ferries from Sweden, Denmark and Germany. We encourage all guests to bring their passports when checking in.

Please note the important information for travelling with a motorhome or camper in Norway.

Age limits apply to travellers unaccompanied by parents/ legal guardians.

On board

Useful information about SuperSpeed 1 & 2

Please deactivate the alarm system in your vehicle if you have parked on the car deck. The loud noise causes stress to animals that are also being transported on the car deck (such as pets remaining in the car, horse transporters, etc.).

WiFi throughout the ship, except the buffet restaurant Catch me if you can. To gain access - please buy so in the reception. If travelling on Business Class - WiFi is included.

Our guests can withdraw EUR, DKK and NOK from the ATM. The ATM is located in the reception area.

The following currency is accepted upon payment / purchase on board: EUR, DKK and NOK.

SuperSpeed has easy access to all common areas.

    SuperSpeed 1 and 2 have daily departures from Hirtshals. Hirtshals.  If you are arriving by car, follow E39 towards Hjørring/Hirtshals all the way to the check in point.

    Check-in opens 2 hours and closes 15 minutes before departure.

  • Parking

    Public parking at the Harbour.

  • Public Transport

    The Bus Station, Hirtshals Banegård, is located within walking distance from the terminal. The train station is also a ten minutes walk from the terminal. For taxi please call +45 98 94 40 00.

  • Opening hours

    06:00 – 08:00 and 15:00 – 17:30

  • Parking

    At the terminal there are a limited number of outdoor parking spaces. The fee is 168 NOK per day. It is not possible to pre-book. The parking lot is unattended.

  • Public Transport

    Distance from the train and bus station is about 2,5 km. It is advisable to check train and bus schedules with NSB / current bus company in advance.

  • Opening Hours

    06:00 - 08:00 and 14:00 - 16:30.

  • Parking

    Unfortunately it is not able to park in the terminal area. There is parking in the Parko parking garage. Parko is located about 400 m from the terminal.

  • Public Transport

    The train and bus station is located within walking distance from the terminal. The taxi rank is located approximately 100 m from the terminal.

  • Wifi

    Surf for free while you wait. Wifi is available at car check in and inside the terminal building. To go online, find the network "Kristiansand-Havna-Gjest" and accept the terms and conditions.
